Here is a little about it:
My name is Jacqueline.
Thanks for coming over – I desire to serve you and your family with information that I have gleaned over many years in the area of healthy living and preventative medicinals , going green, organic gardening, and creative home-making. There is still much more to discover, but I hope it is a help to you as we are living in an increasingly complex and confusing world. I look forward to the journey with you!
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I am only able to grow at all because He feeds me like rich, fertile soil feeds and supports the vitality of a growing plant. I feel His embrace and the warm sunshine of His grace.
For many years now, I have been first a wife, but also a teacher of our children in the home. Now a new season is coming, and with the blessing of my husband, I know it is time to discover His continuing purpose for my life. What better way than to share some of the interesting things I have learned along the way. What I share will be varied and practical…focused on being a good steward of the earth, our time, and finances…but I also love to do things that bring beauty and order to our hectic lives and reflect God’s creativity. I will capture as much as I can through photography so you can ‘see’ it as if right here.
Home is where I love to be. We all desire our homes to be safe and clean, full of nurture and beauty (not the impersonal decorator magazine kind), and savory aromas from the kitchen. There is no greater place to incubate souls!
I am as uncomfortable as a size 9 foot in a size 8 shoe…there are so many interesting ideas I want to share; I have no idea where to start. I just think I will let the seasons be much of my guide. Spring and summer-planting, berries, flowers, fresh food. Fall and winter- dehydrating, cooking, decorating, storing. All year round-music and nature! “God ordained the moon to rule the seasons.” Psalm 104:19
The habits of the home in one generation become the morals of society in the next. As William Ross Wallace said: “The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.”
